The Generation X (QR code) hotel lock Generation X hotel lock is a combination of QR code and RFID technology, making it a flexible system for any accommodation with limited or no reception. With this hotel lock, you can generate a QR code and share it with your guests so they can access their room directly with their smartphone. This lock is specially designed for accommodations without (or with limited) reception, unmanned hotels or outbuildings where the functionality and safety of your guests take precedence over the aesthetics of the lock. The Generation X hotel lock is unique and easy to use without expensive software, licensing fees, or special applications.

Access with QR code

The Generation-X hotel lock does not require an internet connection. You generate a QR code in your Hotek ecosystem that you share with your guest so that the lock can be opened (printed or from the smartphone). The QR code has thus become the key that provides direct access to the booked hotel room. With this technology, the use of an RFID key card has become unnecessary. If your guest prefers the old trusted RFID key card, it is still possible thanks to the hybrid nature of this lock!
